Buses

Race Buses

Wear warm clothing on the bus and remember to label your drop bag! You can store extra clothing or items you will need in Summerhaven, it is safe and secure! There will be a designated area at the Starting Line and at the Finish Line.

It is usually chilly in the morning and in Summerhaven!

MARATHON

Buses will leave TMC parking lot as they are full, beginning at 3:30 a.m., DO NOT WAIT until the last bus (5:00 a.m.) as we cannot guarantee there will be space available.  Buses from the finish line back to the hospital parking lot will begin at 9:00a.m. and run continuously until last runner has left the mountain.

HALF-MARATHON and 10K

Buses will leave TMC parking lot as they are full beginning at 3:30 a.m., DO NOT WAIT until the last bus (4:30 a.m.) as we cannot guarantee there will be space available.  It takes approx. 45 minutes for the bus to get to the start line, BE EARLY! Buses from the finish line back to the hospital parking lot will begin at 9:00a.m. and run continuously until last runner has left the mountain.

You may be dropped off at the start of the Full marathon, if drop off car is heading to the finish line THEY MUST be on the mountain by 4:45 or risk waiting for pilot car to take them up.  If you want to be dropped off at the half start, your driver must be past the Full start by 4:30am, you will have the option to head back down the mountain only before 5a.m. otherwise you have to continue to Summerhaven.

There is no parking on the race course at all, spectators can use camp ground parking to watch you run by, but then must wait for a pilot car to proceed up or down the mountain.  This is a major safety issue and violators may be ticketed.

The parking lot is located off of Glenn and Craycroft; Click here for map
